The Promise of a Kiss
Mystical Waters Canyon Prequel
A dangerous encounter pulls Caro into a murder investigation, the protection of a Boston police officer, and a future neither of them expected.
One promise changed everything…
Carolina North moved to Boston for a new job and a little adventure—just not the kind that involved a dangerous man who refused to leave her alone. When he gets too close, facing him is much easier with Rod by her side.
Officer Rod Weaver took an oath to protect and serve—a promise he doesn’t take lightly. But when the man harassing Caro turns up dead, keeping her safe takes on a whole new meaning.
As danger closes in, Caro and Rod are pulled into a mystery neither can ignore. But with Caro determined to stand on her own and Rod determined to protect her, trusting each other may be the only way to stop a killer—and claim the kind of love neither one saw coming.
A promise brought them together. But a kiss may lead to forever.
Perfect for readers who enjoy romantic suspense with protective heroes, strong heroines, insta-attraction, dge-of-your-seat mystery, family ties, and a guaranteed happy ending.
